COPPED HALL historic ruin  
Cultural events take place within this Tudor mansion with plans to open new rooms for future use. Probably has the largest walled garden in Essex. Restoration in progress by Copped Hall Trust.

Campsites, heritage sites, cycling, walking, white water rafting, ice skating, horse riding, nature reserves and wide open spaces.
